We talked about composition in art class today. It is important to move the eye around the work then bring it all back to the focal point. Love this, because I can add
interest around the subject. Gotta remember to bring it back to the focal point though, which is part of the fun. Also, do not make other elements more important than
focal point.
Here is my #twoodle tweet doodle.
I tried to apply some of what I learned today.
No time for color though:(
Really wanted to scan and do digitally,
but my printer said 5 years and my time is up today.
We had a good run. Now the search for a decent
multifunction printer that doesn't require ink that cost
a fortune.
I may try to trace my photo in illustrator
and see how that method looks...
Will keep you posted,
until then this Siren floats in cyberspace,
baffling crocks and men alike.

Hair Possibility
I did this #twoodle inspired by the words rainbow+bouffant. The hairdo slowly morphed into
Hilda's obsession Dashing Dan. I have decided I will continue to post on Wednesdays, with
maybe some bonus days thrown in with the #twoodles. So tune in next week!
Today after doing this drawing I went to the first art class I have been to in years. It felt great
to be back among real live artists, no offense cyber illustrator friends! Talked with the teacher a
lot about how so many elements effect a drawing. Perspective, structure/design of the drawing
being key.
It's overwhelming, the possibilities in art. Makes it a little hard to focus sometimes. I am just
going to keep plugging away at it, having fun finding my way.
